About Me

I am an environmental engineering student studying at California Polytechnic State University. I am interested in water treatment and pollution mitigation. To pursue these interests, I am helping a professor conduct research for a project focused on bioremediation of hydrocarbons in contaminated soil. In addition to my studies, I am a member of the Society of Environmental Engineers and secretary for the Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Student Chapter. As a member of EWB, I helped design and plan a prototyping session for a three day construction project to build a concrete wall with a steel column. My academic and extracurricular experiences have developed my critical thinking ability and leadership skills which allow me to devise solutions to any problems I encounter.
